These Terms of Use ("Terms") apply to your use of the Syntony Bodywork website (syntonybodywork.com.au), the client portal (app.syntonybodywork.com.au), and any services offered through them. They are operated by Syntony Bodywork (ABN: 16 697 645 596) ("we", "us", "our").

By using our website, creating an account, or booking a session, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

These Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia.

1. Using Our Website and Portal

You may use our website and client portal for lawful personal purposes only. You agree not to:

• Use the site in any way that violates applicable Australian law
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the site or its underlying systems
• Transmit viruses, malware, or any other harmful code
• Scrape, crawl, or extract data from the site without our written permission
• Impersonate another person or create a misleading account

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to the portal if these terms are breached.

2. Your Account

When you create an account on our client portal, you are responsible for:

• Keeping your password confidential
• All activity that occurs under your account
• Notifying us immediately if you suspect unauthorised access (clinic@syntony.com.au)

You must provide accurate information when creating your account. We may suspend or close accounts where information is found to be false or misleading.

3. Bookings

Making a booking

Appointments can be booked through our website or via our booking system. A booking is confirmed when you receive a confirmation email. Please check your spam folder if you do not receive this within a few minutes.

Accuracy of information

When booking, you must provide accurate information about your health, medical conditions, medications, and any relevant history. Inaccurate information may affect the safety or effectiveness of your treatment. Syntony Bodywork accepts no liability for any adverse outcome resulting from information you failed to disclose.

Session suitability

All session types — including Indiba radiofrequency sessions — may not be appropriate for all clients. Contraindications (including pacemakers, active cancer, pregnancy, and metal implants in the treatment area) will be reviewed during your intake. If you are unsure whether a session is suitable for your circumstances, contact us before booking.

4. Cancellations and Rescheduling

We understand that plans change. To allow us to offer your appointment to other clients:

24+ hours notice: No fee. You may reschedule at no charge.

Less than 24 hours notice: A cancellation fee of up to 50% of the session price may apply.

No-show (no notice given): The full session fee may be charged.

Cancellation fees are charged at our discretion. If you have a genuine emergency or become unwell, please contact us as soon as possible — we will always try to accommodate reasonable circumstances.

5. Pricing and Payment

Pricing

All prices displayed on this website are in Australian dollars and include GST where applicable. Prices are subject to change. The price at the time of your booking confirmation applies to that booking.

Grand opening promotional pricing is available to new clients only, for a limited time as specified on the website. One promotional session per client.

Payment

Payment is processed through Tyro Health at the time of your appointment. Health fund claims are processed via Tyro Health at the time of checkout.

We accept major health funds via Tyro Health EFTPOS terminal. Please check with your fund for your specific entitlements — Syntony Bodywork cannot guarantee rebate amounts.

We do not accept cash.

6. Health Services Disclaimer

General

The information on this website is intended for general informational purposes only. It is not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always seek the advice of your GP or other qualified health provider with any questions you may have about a medical condition.

AHPRA compliance

Gary Ng is a registered remedial massage therapist and ANTA member. All services are provided in accordance with applicable professional standards.

In accordance with AHPRA advertising guidelines:

• We do not claim that our services can cure, treat, or prevent any specific medical condition
• We do not make guarantees about the outcomes of treatment
• Individual results vary
• Any testimonials or case references on this website reflect individual experiences and are not representations that all clients will achieve the same outcomes

Emergency situations

Our services are not appropriate for medical emergencies. If you are experiencing a medical emergency, please call 000 immediately.

7. Indiba Radiofrequency — Suitability Notice

Indiba radiofrequency therapy is not suitable for all clients. Contraindications include, but may not be limited to:

• Pacemakers or other implanted electronic devices
• Active cancer in or near the treatment area
• Pregnancy
• Metal implants within the treatment area
• Active acute inflammation

It is your responsibility to disclose any of these conditions before booking an Indiba session. If you are unsure whether Indiba is appropriate for you, contact us before booking or speak with your GP.

8. The Client Portal

Access to the client portal (app.syntonybodywork.com.au) is provided free of charge to Syntony Bodywork clients.

Accuracy of health profile

The health profile you maintain in the portal is used by your practitioner to prepare for your sessions. It is your responsibility to keep this information accurate and up to date. Syntony Bodywork accepts no liability for any outcome resulting from outdated or inaccurate health profile information.

Content in the library

Library content is provided for informational and educational purposes only. It does not constitute clinical advice and is not a substitute for an in-person assessment by a qualified practitioner. If you have specific health concerns, please book a session.

Library access

Library content marked as free is accessible to all registered users. Paid content (where applicable in the future) requires a separate purchase. Purchases are non-refundable once the content has been accessed.

9. The Shop — Affiliate Links

The shop section of our website and portal contains affiliate links to third-party products. By clicking these links, you will leave our website and be directed to an external retailer.

Disclosure: Syntony Bodywork may earn a commission if you make a purchase through an affiliate link, at no extra cost to you. Affiliate relationships do not influence Gary Ng's recommendations — only products Gary personally uses or endorses are listed.

We are not responsible for:

• The quality, safety, or accuracy of third-party products
• The content or privacy practices of external websites
• Any transactions you make with external retailers
• Any claims made by external product manufacturers

Before purchasing any supplement or health product, we recommend consulting your GP or a qualified health professional to confirm it is appropriate for your circumstances.

The SOAP note templates, clinical frameworks, and session methodology described on this website are the proprietary work of Gary Ng / Syntony Bodywork.

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of the page. Continued use of our website or portal after changes are published constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

For material changes, we will notify registered portal users by email.
